Short description: As part of the course the student learns the species of companion animals, requirements and specific breeding conditions. During the course design their own breeding the chosen species and participates in exhibitions of the companion animals.
Full description: Characteristics of dog breeding, specific requirements, presentation of breeds. Characteristics of cats breeding and their requirements, description of the breeds. Discussion of breeding and characteristic of varieties of hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas, ferrets, rabbits, gerbils, mice and rats. Presentation of the species of birds and other animals kept as pets.

Is aware of the responsibility for animals and ethic proceeding with.
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: The grade from the project is 30% and grade from the test 70% of the total evaluation.
